The OTS9000 optical test set comes with modules to support 10 Gbit/s DWDM and SONET/SDH analysis. The system provides pattern generation and analysis for verification of multiple signals through bit-error-rate analysis. Cards are available in three configurations, for transmitter only, receiver only, and transceiver. The modular design, based on the cPCI standard, will allow users to buy additional modules when they become available. A single platform can support up to three transceivers.
