MULTIWAVELENGTH METER

Jan. 1, 2001

The AQ6140 multiwavelength meter can measure wavelengths and power of up to 256 channels at a time with an accuracy of ±0.003 nm at 1310 and 1550 nm. Its range is 1270 to 1650 nm (182 to 236 THz), with a minimum resolvable separation of 10 GHz or less. Input level is from -40 dBm for 1-line input to +10 dBm for all lines. Measurement time is 1.5 s. A grid monitoring function can provide peak wavelength analysis for set grid channels, peak wavelength search, and wavelength gap and power-level change within the grid.
