The PolaRITE II dynamic polarization controller is an all-fiber controller with a response time less than 35 ms, activation-induced loss less than 0.002 dB, polarization sensitivity of less than 0.05 dB, and a degree of polarization less than 1%. It operates from 1280 to 1650 nm on less than 40-V dc and has a resonant enhanced circuit to reduce the half-wave voltages of scrambling frequencies.
