A range of 10 Gbit/s receivers has sensitivities from -16 to -26 dBm, low group delay deviation of 30 ps, typical bandwidth of 10 GHz, and transimpedance gains from 200 to 2000 W with a standard SMA- compatible output connector. The modules use InGaAs-InP PIN and avalanche photodetectors, with integrated circuits based on GaAs and SiGe. The optical receivers are packaged in soldered, hermetically sealed modules in compliance with Bellcore standards.
