Panduit debuts rotating wall-mount cabinet

September 17, 2004 Tinley Park, IL -- Panduit Corp. has released the CableAccess Rotating Wall Mount Cabinet, which enables cables to be installed into the front and/or rear sections without threading through any opening. Optimized for "plug and play" installations, the unit is designed so that installed cables are not disturbed when the cabinet is rotated open for rear access.

Optimized for "plug and play" installations, the unit is designed so that installed cables are not disturbed when the cabinet is rotated open for rear access.

The optional slack manager allows users to standardize on a single patch cord length, while keeping the cabinet organized and manageable during installation and maintenance. Robust design and locking access doors provide security protection. Thermal management provides climate control for various switches and power supplies.

Constructed of high-strength, corrosion resistant materials, the cabinet is capable of managing 12 RU of active and passive networking equipment. Grounding provisions comply with Telcordia GR-1089 grounding and bonding specifications. Multiple access points provide easy access, to speed installation and maintenance.
