ASE light source

The Xolar 1310-nm ASE light source for multiwavelength test and measurement provides more than 1 mW of integrated power with a 3-dB bandwidth of 45 nm, and peak output at 1323 nm. The module is part of a measurement platform that enables the development and testing of wavelength-division multiplexing components and systems for the 1310-nm window. The light source is also suitable for sensor applications, optical CDMA systems, and other uses requiring broadband incoherent light in this region of the spectrum.
