Gain-flattening filter

The Gain Flattening Filter flattens amplifier gain profiles without the need for temperature stabilization. The filter is based on a thin-film component housed in a compact, environmentally stable package. It has maximum backreflection of -50 dB, typical polarization- dependent loss of 0.5 dB, and maximum error- function performance of +0.4 dB.
