Jan Peeters Weem is a Principal Engineer at Tektronix responsible for the development of optical communications test equipment. Jan has been with Tektronix for six years, starting with the design of optical sampling oscilloscopes and moving to coherent communications systems.
Jan has held positions working in the optical industry at Intel, Aprius, and Tyco Electronics before joining Tektronix. Jan has a Ph.D in microwave engineering and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as a B.S. in Mathematics from Oregon State University.
