Return-path detector

The EPM718FJ-S optical-detector module operates to 200 MHz in cable-TV return-path receivers. It has high responsivity at 1300 nm and a capacitance of 0.75 pF. The device serves other higher-bandwidth AM systems with low channel loading and is packaged in a 3-pin coaxial module with a singlemode fiber pigtail.
