The Conversion Center platform is capable of accepting this manufacturer`s line of Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, FDDI, Token Ring, and Gigabit Ethernet conversion tools. The platform includes optional enterprise features such as SNMP management and redundant power options and is suitable for wiring centers in large LANs. The system supports 16 slots in a 19-inch rack-mountable design. Twisted pair to singlemode or multimode fiber converters are available for Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, ATM, Token Ring, and FDDI. Multimode-to-singlemode converters are available for each of these environments, including a Gigabit Ethernet media converter.
