The Model 790 optical channel analyzer module for the manufacturer`s Model 7500 mainframe is designed specifically for dwdm applications. The module characterizes dwdm transmission systems and components over a wavelength range of 1520 to 1570 nm. It characterizes optical carrier performance by measuring wavelength, power, signal-to-noise ratio, channel spacing, and drift.
