Data center operator Core NAP--a provider of colocation, network, managed services, disaster recovery, and cloud server systems--has selected tw telecom--a provider of managed voice, Internet, and data networking tools for businesses--to provide last-mile Ethernet services to enable the company to expand its reach in Austin.

Headquartered in Austin, Core NAP’s data center boasts the greatest number of network peering and transit points of any data center in central Texas, providing businesses with the lowest overall latency possible, according to a spokesperson.

"Tw telecom's business Ethernet platform allows us to reach an additional 350 buildings in Austin and gives us the scalability to grow and expand with our customer's connectivity, collocation, and cloud server needs much more quickly and cost-effectively than ever before," says Kenneth Smith, CEO at Core NAP.
