JANUARY 24 2011 -- Belden has added the FiberExpress@EASE patch panel to its FiberExpress family for enterprise networks. The FiberExpress@EASE offers simple in-rack management and a choice of panels with pre-loaded fiber couplers.

Each SC and LC FiberExpress@EASE unit also incorporates a coupler management bar that enables the coupler to sit flush on the front face of the panel. This creates a greater bend radius and a better fit for patch cords within a standard rack for more compact and flexible installations, Belden asserts.

The new FiberExpress@EASE panel is designed and manufactured in the UK. Its space saving technology is designed to offer improved installation times and a faster return on investment via a simple 1U footprint, easier in-rack management, a choice of pre-loaded couplers ready for installation, and multiple splice tray options including FiberExpress Ultra, FiberExpress, and most of the basic splice tools.
