LIWEST Kabelmedien GmbH has chosen ARRIS ServAssure Advanced Performance Management Software to manage its DOCSIS network operations to improve customers' triple-play experience. The second largest Austrian cable operator, LIWEST serves more than 135,000 residential and business customers in Upper Austria, including the city of Linz.

ServAssure Advanced provides customer experience monitoring and performance tools to optimize the quality and capacity of DOCSIS networks, enabling improvements in available bandwidth and customer quality of experience (QOE). It offers cable service providers the ability to address network and customer service assurance, while reducing mean-time-to-repair (MTTR) by presenting data and health metrics in organized views. These diagnostics, along with expert recommendations, help operators improve customer satisfaction, increase network capacity and reduce operational costs with minimal CAPEX, explains a company representative.

“We are committed to ensuring the highest possible degree of customer experience," said Hubert Riedl, LIWEST EVP, Products and Services. "We compared the network and service assurance solutions that are currently available and chose ARRIS ServAssure Advanced. It offers comprehensive assurance features in a modular offering that can be deployed across our organization, adding consistency, flexibility, and efficiencies to our network operations."
