Safety clamp

The B-clamp is an emergency restoration safety device. By temporarily installing the clamp on an active singlemode fiber, optical output power is reduced by -50 dB, according to company claims. The clamp is used for 250-micron coated singlemode fiber and singlemode ribbon fiber. The unit is priced at $650.
