Novosco deploys Zhone Technologies’ MXK for Ethernet in the First Mile

Zhone Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZHNE) says that managed services provider Novosco has deployed its MXK platform to provide Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) services in Northern Ireland. Novosco also is using Zhone’s ETHX network termination devices to support customers in and around Belfast.

Novosco began integrating Zhone’s MXK terabit access platform into its network in January and went live in March 2011.
