PROGRAMMABLE OPTICAL VARIABLE ATTENUATOR

June 1, 2000

The OVA-910 optical variable attenuator is a fully GPIB controllable unit for both laboratory and production environments. It provides up to 60-dB attenuation with a resolution of 0.001 dB and a 1.5-dB minimum insertion loss. Low wavelength dependence makes the OVA-910 suitable for both C- and L-band DWDM applications. A power monitor is incorporated as standard, enabling automatic power stabilization when required and maintaining constant output power despite input power changes.
