Jan. 1, 2001

The 1926 SDH DWDM transmitter is an integrated optical interface that allows DWDM channel selection and has an internal optical locker function. It covers applications from long-haul/long-reach (80 km) to ultralong-haul/ultralong-reach (640-km minimum). Optical preamplifiers can be eliminated, and the device can be used with forward error correction.
