FEBRUARY 16. 2010 -- Telx, an interconnection and colocation provider in strategic North American markets, has expanded the footprint of its colocation facility at 600 West 7th Street in Los Angeles by 40 percent. As a result, Telx offers a higher-density colocation and interconnection facility in the key market of downtown Los Angeles. One-third of the expansion is pre-sold, according to a company representative.
The 600 West 7th Street facility offers direct connections to a variety of carriers, service providers, enterprises, media and entertainment firms, gaming companies. and financial services providers. In addition, customers can directly connect to other downtown colocation facilities. With a larger facility, existing Telx customers can expand their services; at the same time, Telx has additional capacity to add new customers.
