ROAM Data has selected RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corp. and a provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, to provide Dedicated Internet Access to a colocation at 1 Summer Street, Boston. ROAM Data is a mobile applications and commerce gateway service provider that delivers valuable real-time information and transactions to mobile professionals.

FEBRUARY 22, 2010 -- ROAM Data has selected RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corp. and a provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, to provide Dedicated Internet Access to a colocation at 1 Summer Street, Boston. ROAM Data is a mobile applications and commerce gateway service provider that delivers valuable real-time information and transactions to mobile professionals.

ROAM Data’s adoption of RCN Metro's Dedicated Internet Access increases the company’s network capacity and improves the resiliency of its network with multiple network service providers and data centers. ROAM Data can now scale to meet the increased traffic demands of its growing business and customer base.
