Fiber-optic amplifier system

The FA30 fiber-optic amplifier system has an optical output power of +30 dBm and operates over the 1535- to 1550-nm range, providing more than 30-dB gain. It is used as a building block for a family of amplifier products intended for both research and development and original equipment manufacturer markets for applications such as fiber-optic communications, cable TV, dense wdm, and nonlinear fiber-optic transmission studies.
