WDM module

The arrayed waveguide grating dense WDM module is integrated into silicon and is used for multiplexing and demultiplexing 4, 8, 16, or 32 narrowly spaced wavelengths. Standard designs include channel spacings of 0.8, 1.0, 1.6, and 2.0 nm. The units can be customized. The device is produced using mass-reproducible photolithographic technologies.
