Bit-rate multiplier

The brm16 is an analyzer for taking measurements on networks evolving to stm-16/OC-48 and on wdm systems. Connected to any stm-1/sts-3 analyzer, it gives direct access to higher bit rates from the analyzer. All functions of the low-bit-rate analyzer apply on the high-bit-rate signal. Working in stand-alone mode, or remotely controlled by a computer, the device also offers all test functions on sdh and sonet systems. The product includes stm-1, OC-3, stm-4, OC-12, stm-16, and OC-48 interfaces. It is available in several versions: single-wavelength, biwavelength, wdm-calibrated wavelength, and with electrical interfaces at 2.5 Gbits/sec.
