Fiber-optic converters

FX-C fiber-optic mode converter transforms optical signals from multimode to singlemode fibers and vice versa, and adapts the wavelength from 820 to 1550 nm. The FX-B booster uses a laser diode to cover distances of more than 50 km in singlemode. Both FX-C and FX-B meet LAN and WAN standards. Supported interfaces include E1 and E3. The ATM version is also available for SC connectors. Integrated LEDs indicate the receive data, power, laser and loops. A fiber-doubler capability to transmit and receive on a single fiber is optional.
