Fiber Bragg Grating devices

Oct. 1, 2000

Designs using proprietary GratingMaker software form the basis for a range of fiber Bragg grating devices. These include 50- and 100-GHz DWDM fiber grating filters, with center wavelength accuracy on ITU grid offset of < ±0.025 nm and crosstalk values of < -25 dB. Other products in this line are fiber grating gain flattening filters for both C and L bands, fixed and tunable fiber grating dispersion compensators, wavelength lockers for 980- and 1480-nm pump lasers, and fiber gratings for sensors. Also available is the EBS-7210, a high-power, spectrally flattened broadband source spanning both the erbium C and L bands.
