New product line for WDM

A broad new line of products offers integrated solutions for WDM applications. The SLA5600 series of 1480-nm pump lasers (with internal fiber Bragg grating) combines the laser diode and fiber grating with a TEC inside a standard 14-pin butterfly package. The SLT4400 series of uncooled CWDM lasers is available in wavelengths from 1490 to 1610 nm in 20-nm spacings. These lasers experience a wavelength drift of only 7 nm. The integrated SDG1000 SONET/SDH OC-48 photonic-layer Transceiver is provided in a compact package with a fiber pigtail interface. This mux-demux series of products contains a 2.5 Gbit/s optical transmitter and receiver, along with a serializer, deserializer, and a 2.5-GHz clock synthesizer. The product line also includes 50- and 200-GHz add/drop modules and C-band (1530 to 1560 nm) and L-band (1570 to 1610 nm) gratings for EDFAs.
