The BT-1000 hand-held meter can measure wavelength to an accuracy of 0.1 nm in the 1520 to 1570-nm range. Optical power can be measured to an accuracy of 0.1 dB in the 800 to 1600-nm range. Features include an RS-233 interface for remotely controlled monitoring, on-line help, and battery/ac operation.
