PIN PHOTODIODES

Jan. 1, 2001

DSC20S 40-GHz PIN photodiode modules receive 128 channels of 40-Gbit/s signals over the C and L wavelength bands. They provide signal-to-noise ratio of better than 27 dB and a bit-error rate of 10-9 after transmission along 300 km of dispersion optimized fiber.
