A training program for those who install, design, and maintain fiber-optic systems covers the fundamentals of fiber-optic technology. Each one- to four-day clinic provides hands-on applications, with instructors also demonstrating the integration of cable management products, such as crossconnect cabinets, patch panels, and pigtails. The sessions cover topics such as the functions and benefits of fiber optics, network components, applications of new technology, and safety. Sessions are held at locations across the United States.
