GigOptix, Inc. (OTCBB: GGOX) says it has received a purchase order from a Tier 1 customer worth $750,000 for its 100-Gbps GX62450 dual-polarization quadrature phase-shift keying (DP-QPSK) quad modulator driver. The driver will be used in a 100-Gbps DWDM system. The order will be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2011, GigOptix says.
