The company reports the module is easily integrated into existing networks.

On June 5, Integra Optics, an Infinite Electronics brand, announced the launch of its SFP+, 10/2.5 G BiDi, 20km, XGSPON OLT transceiver. The company reports that the transceiver caters to XG/XGS-PON 10/2.5 Gbps applications and offers high performance over a single strand with a range of 20 kilometers.

Integra reports that the new optical module offers network providers a seamless upgrade path from GPON to XGS-PON, can bypass external WDM equipment in the network architecture, and has an operating temperature range from -40 C to +85 C.

Marlena Miller, senior engineering manager at Integra, said in a press release, “This transceiver reinforces our commitment to innovation and our role in driving the future of optical networking. It is a testament to our dedication to providing high-quality, reliable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the industry at large.”

The company further reports that the SFP+ XGSPON OLT transceiver is broadly compatible and easily integrated into existing networks, and its digital diagnostic interface aligns with the QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).
