Cogeco Cable Canada Inc. (Montreal) has tapped adc Telecommunications Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) to provide its Homeworx hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable (hfc) telephony system for a trial being conducted with Cogeco`s Troi-Rivieres, Quebec, cable system. Cogeco will use the system for trial delivery of telephone and video services to 60 customers over an existing hfc network. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
