Oscilloscopes

Digital storage oscilloscopes in the TDS 700A series combine the properties of analog and digital scopes. Instavu signal-acquisition technology enables a capture rate of 400,000 waveforms per second. The series includes TDS 784A, TDS 744A and TDS 724A, all of which feature color displays, bandwidths to 1 GHz, and sample rates to 500 Mbits/sec on all channels or to 4 Gbits/sec on a single channel. The oscilloscopes offer a choice of triggering capabilities such as setup and hold, slew rate and time out. Channel deskew aligns input signals to correct offset of signal timing, and a dual-window zoom lets users simultaneously view compressed and expanded traces of a waveform on screen. The TDS platform includes the Tristar DSP for high-speed processing, a graphical user interface and documentation. Models TDS 784A, TDS 744A and TDS 724A are priced at $34,495, $17,950 and $12,200, respectively. Delivery time is eight weeks.
