Tunable laser sources

Models MG9637A and MG9638A tunable laser sources use a Littman configuration with fixed optical grating and rotating mirror to eliminate mode hopping. MG9637A features a lithium-niobate laser with a wavelength that is controlled by adjusting the active cavity and has greater than -10-dBm maximum power output. MG9638A provides wavelength range between 1500 and 1580 nm, greater than 4-dBm maximum power, and wavelength sweeps that can be set from 0 to 䕌 nm in 1-pm increments.
