Adsl single-chip transceiver

An asymmetric digital subscriber line (adsl) single-chip transceiver targets the Internet access, LAN extension, work-at-home, telecommuting and videoconfer-encing markets. Based on QAM, Model BCM6010 will be used in the company`s high-volume carrierless amplitude phase-modulation adsl access products. It supports data rates to 52 Mbits/sec, depending on loop length. An integrated adaptive equalizer block with programmable tap lengths allows for equalizers to 18,000 ft.
