Tunable laser source

The FLS-2600 contains both a tunable laser and a broadband source and is insensitive to vibration, making it suitable for use in production testing of WDM components. The device has a sidemode suppression ratio of 65 dB, providing a dynamic range for testing passive DWDM components and allowing the user to measure crosstalk at a

level that would not be possible using a traditional external cavity laser, according to the manufacturer. The tunable laser can be switched for use as a high-power ASE source.
