VSC7800 GaAs transimpedance amplifiers with integrated optical detectors address performance requirements of optical data communications and telecommunications, instrumentation and computer applications. The optical detectors operate over wavelengths between 770 and 860 nm and are 100 to 500 microns in diameter. The amplifiers suit Hippi standards, as well as Fibre Channel applications at 266, 531 and 1063 Mbits/sec.
