Wavelength-division multiplexer

Wavelength-division multiplexer combines 980- and 1550-nm light signals and 1300- and 1550-nm light signals. The unit has an insertion loss of as low as 0.7 dB, backreflection of less than -60 dB and isolation levels better than -60 dB. Different fiber types can be used on the input and output ends of the device. These multiplexers can be made using singlemode, multimode or polarization-maintaining fibers.
