Fujitsu Network Transmission Systems Inc., Richardson, TX, says that Nynex Corp. has extended its contract with Fujitsu for synchronous optical network systems. This $100 million, two-year extension calls for Fujitsu to supply the FLM 6 and the FLM 150, FLM 600 and FLM 2400 add/drop multiplexers, which provide transport capacities from 150 megabits per second to 2.4 gigabits per second and access rates from 1.5 to 150 Mbits/sec.
