The AQ8423Z optical amplifier analyzer uses the pulse method and works with the company`s optical spectrum analyzer. The device covers both the C and L bands and can measure noise figure of up to 200 channels and gain of optical fiber amplifiers under multiplexed conditions. It can separate ASE light and amplified light and achieve minimum channel spacing of 25 GHz. The device can measure 40 channels in five minutes.
