EDFA design tool

EDFA Design is a multi-level CAD tool for EDFA components and networks, designed for component and gain block manufacturers, WDM system designers, network operators, and researchers. A self-contained icon-based graphical user interface controls the optical component layout and netlist, amplifier model, and graphical output. It includes control-loop and link-budget calculations and optimization routines for pump power, erbium-fiber length, and gain-flattening filters.
