Russ Esmacher serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Interconnect (DCI) business unit at Marvell, where he leads the strategy, roadmap, and portfolio development for DCI solutions. He oversees product direction, drives investment decisions, and ensures Marvell delivers differentiated solutions aligned to customer and market needs. Russ also builds and maintains deep relationships with customers to support adoption of next-generation technologies.

Russ brings more than 25 years of experience across the communications and cloud sectors, with senior leadership roles at Infinera, Nokia, and Cisco. He is recognized for guiding organizations through transformation, building high-performance teams, and developing trusted relationships with leading customers. He holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering (Photonics) and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University, and has been inducted into the Thomas Green Clemson Academy of Engineers and Scientists.
