Laser light source

The K1780X series of laser light sources suits general-purpose fiber-optic testing. The dual-wavelength 1310/1550-nm source provides switched wavelengths through one optical connector, and an 850-nm led emitter can be provided, enabling one instrument to cover all testing applications. An RS-232 port enables remote control and data collection, and autotest allows automatic dual-wavelength testing when the light source is used with compatible power meters. Extended temperature range is -10 to +55C. Features include fiber- coupled emitters, modulation capability, backlit display, and adjustable output levels.
