Optical spectrum analyzer

The IQ-5200 optical spectrum analyzer is based on a diffraction-grating design covering the 1525- to 1570-nm wdm spectral range with 0.1-nm resolution bandwidth. The device offers Windows 95-based software with automatic channel analysis for wavelength, power, and bandwidth. The software has graph-mode capabilities with three horizontal and two vertical markers as well as choice of axes in milliwatts or decibels relative to milliwatts and nanometers or terahertz. The graphical-display mode allows a user to monitor power stability of a range of channel wavelengths in the time domain.
