Anritsu MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer
The growth of cloud computer services and smartphone usage is driving the expansion of core network transmission capacity. Standards organizations and research bodies are examining next-gen, high-speed transmission technologies at 400 Gbps and 1 Tbps using methods such as QAM performing signal modulation in both the phase and amplitude domains. The MP1800A BERT has a built-in eight-channel, 32-Gbps pulse pattern generator (PPG). When four units are synchronized, they can support configuration of an ultra high-speed transmission test system with multi-channel synchronization signals, including quad DP-16QAM and dual DP-64QAM. These are required for 400-Gbps and 1-Tbps transmission tests.
