Krell debuts bare fiber polisher

MARCH 11, 2008 -- Krell Technologies has introduced its Radian System for processing bare optical fibers.

MARCH 11, 2008 -- Krell Technologies (search for Krell) has introduced its Radian System for processing bare optical fibers. Fibers can be polished at user selectable angles for R&D applications and production.

A real-time video system actively monitors the polishing process from start to finish. The inspection module permits in-line viewing of the polished fiber to insure surface quality.

Adapters are available for a variety of fiber types and diameters. PM fiber can also be aligned and polished in the Radian System.
