MetroNet taps Atlas Digital Group for e-commerce platform

ADG developed the CORE platform to enable broadband service providers to add e-commerce capabilities to their websites.

Atlas Digital Group (ADG) says that fiber broadband service provider MetroNet will leverage the company’s CORE Digital Commerce platform for e-commerce.

ADG developed the CORE platform to enable broadband service providers to add e-commerce capabilities to their websites. The platform is offered as a managed service and supports service ordering, order management, and performance dashboards that deliver data-driven business intelligence to operators who use it.

“Atlas Digital Group is simply a secret weapon – their platform and expertise allow us to leap-frog generations of learning to convert more e-commerce traffic to sales, now,” commented MetroNet Chief Marketing Officer Jerry Dow. “Operators can spend years trying to build e-commerce expertise or they can pick the right partners and accelerate their business. Now we will have greater conversions, happier customers, and lower costs of acquisition."

“We’re excited to partner with MetroNet and accelerate the growth of their industry-leading fiber-optic service,” said ADG CEO and Founder Mark Mihalevich. “Our e-commerce platform is the perfect complement to MetroNet’s all-fiber network and will drive revenue growth, lower operating costs, optimize packaging and pricing plans, and improve customer satisfaction.”

Founded in 2005, MetroNet offers fiber to the premises (FTTP) based broadband services in parts of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Wisconsin, and Missouri (see, for example, “MetroNet bringing FTTP to College Station, TX” and “MetroNet fiber broadband to make O’Fallon, MO next Gigabit City”).
