At SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, C9 Networks is unveiling a single-box DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS. The package comes with built-in subscriber management, cable plant monitoring system, and a suite of tools for the management and deployment of WiFi.

The subscriber management system is designed to manage new and existing users from sign-in to provisioning and from service activation to deactivation, and also to define the QoS and perform traffic filtering on a per subscriber basis.

The cable plant monitoring system is designed to identify the performance of cable network branches based on subscriber cable modem performance, and also to narrow down plant problems to specific branches of the network and provide advance information on plant issues.

The WiFi management suite is designed to help identify modems connected to WiFi access points and users connected to them as a separate group from the wired users. It monitors the WiFi subsection of the RF network separately to enable identification and resolution of network issues.
