LifeWorks Northwest (NW) selected Comcast Business (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Ethernet to connect 16 of its largest locations throughout Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties in Oregon. With a staff of more than 700, LifeWorks NW is a nonprofit that provides mental health, addiction and prevention health care services to nearly 19,000 individuals at multiple locations across the Portland metro area.

LifeWorks NW chose Comcast Business' Ethernet Network Service, which is designed to enable customers to connect physically distributed locations across a metropolitan area network (MAN) as if they are on the same local area network (LAN). The service provides virtual LAN (VLAN) transparency and enables customers to implement their own VLANs without coordination with Comcast Business.
