    4G LTE reaches 2 Gbps in the lab

    Novus Entertainment in Canada is deploying Ericsson's (NASDAQ:ERIC) Mediaroom to support its IP-based video services to selected IPTV-ready buildings in the greater Vancouver area starting Oct. 1.

    Novus provides television, Internet and digital phone services to multi-dwelling units (MDUs) throughout Metro Vancouver over an all-fiber network.

    Mediaroom, which Ericsson bought from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), is a part of Ericsson's TV Platforms portfolio, which also includes Ericsson MediaFirst, a cloud-based pay TV platform.
